Kit-Kat chunky and Cup of Tea - Filming

Kit-Kat chunky and Cup of Tea - Filming

In the two separate media lessons we were given two tasks to do during the 2 hours in which we had to complete it. We had to complete these tasks in a group, in the group there was me, Jack Rundle and Josh Worrall.
Our first task was the Kit Kat chunky and we had to film ourselves using a variety of different shot types eating the Kit Kat chunky bar. In the end result, I had to eat the chocolate bar whiles Jack and Josh were filming me using different shot types.
By completing this task, it helped us gain a lot of knowledge about a variety of media features and techniques. For example in order to produce our short filming sequence, we had to use Final cut pro to combine our different videos together to make it look professional.

Our second task was to film ourselves drinking a cup of tea. I personally think that my group succeeded better in this task than the first task. This is because we had much better experience of using the different shot types, as a result of this we were more confident, therefore we applied more shot types, for example we used a medium close up, to identify me to the audience. We also used an over the shoulder shot to show where I'm walking to. Also we used a variety camera angles during our filming, we used wide angle shots to establish the location of where we were located. Also we used a high angle shot to enable to audience to see what I was drinking and where I was located.
Furthermore by completing this task it has helped us be much more confident of applying different types of shot types and camera angles.

  1. Where are the videos? You need to be more specific with your comments. You were asked to film a sequence tell me what shots you used, how you edited etc. where is your media Stop correcting “terminology”?
